Not able to add a service type using the Service Type Repository Manager

When I try and add the service type "test" I get the error "Service Type is illegal" 

Resolution:

When you add a service to the service type repository, you need to add an interface type.

This needs to match a specified format which is of the form: IDL:anythinghere:1.0
IDL and 1.0 are the important parts, the anythinghere is just a string value.

You can turn off this checking by bring up the Administration Manager, going to the "Trading Service" and expanding to see the "Singletons".

If you click on the ServiceTypeRepositorySingleton and go the the "General Tag" you will see a property called "Check Name Format". If this is not ticked you can leave the interface type field blank or use any value.
