| Clarifying Information | |
| Error Message | |
| Defect/Enhancement Number | |
| Cause | This issue is caused due to an incorrect Orbix environment available for the process, this is causing the process to fail finding the appropriate shared libraries and thus failing to start. |
| Resolution | Ensure the Orbix environment is properly set using the <domain>_env script generated by itconfigure when the domain has been created. |
| Workaround | |
| Notes | When starting the process via "itadmin process start" command, this instructs the Orbix daemon running on the machine to start up the process. The process inherits the environment settings. Running "itadmin process show <process-name>" prints out details about the process registered with the Orbix locator. |
