Clarifying Information
Error Message
Defect/Enhancement Number
Cause The node daemon's database is corrupt.
Resolution Roll-back to a previous version of the database. Details on how to back-up your Orbix databases can be found in the Orbix 6 Administrator's Guide, Chapter 9, available at:
http://supportline.microfocus.com/productdoc.aspx

The node daemon's database by default will be in :
$IT_PRODUCT_DIR/var/$IT_DOMAIN_NAME/dbs/node_daemon_$HOSTNAME
If a back-up of the node_daemon database is not available fortunately this database can still be deleted and it will be recreated on restart.
Information on POA, ORB and process registration is stored in the locator's database.
