Our system uses Orbix 6 6.3.12 on Solaris 11, x64. On some installations, the system processes report multiple warnings, such as "OpenSSL Toolkit Warning: unknown". These warnings do not appear on other computers. I've checked that the warnings are not displayed when theĀ openssl version command returnsĀ OpenSSL 1.0.2zf 21 Jun 2022, but are displayed when it returns OpenSSL 1.0.2zi Ā 1 Aug 2023.

Does this difference in OpenSSL explain the warnings? Do we need to upgrade Orbix to eliminate them? To which version? Another explanation or/and solution?

Hi Gennady,

Ā  Ā  Ā I need to consult with the Orbix 6 development team regarding the OpenSSL versions you are referring to here. Neither one of those versions are part of the OpenSSL libraries shipped in the Orbix 6.3.12 kit to the best of my recollection. So if those errors are being reported I will need to better understand all the details of the problem and discuss those with development team. Since this is related to security it is best to handle this in a support ticket. I will open one for you to address this problem where we can work through the issues.Ā
