| Cause | Connection cannot be established while invoking on a proxy. This may have multiple causes, but is most likely due to the service the proxy is for having exited. |
| Resolution | Confirm what service the proxy is pointing to and that this is currently running. Using the object_to_string() API on the proxy will allow an IOR to be created from the proxy object and this can then be passed to iortool on the command line to confirm what host and port the IOR is pointing too. Using this information confirm that the service process is listening on this host and port using system tools for the appropriate OS. |
