| Question/Problem Description | When attempting to install Artix 5.5.0.18 on Linux, I get the following error:
(.:16401): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
Then the installation finishes immediately. When checking the file "patch.properties" under <Artix>/java/etc/patch.properties, but the file either does not exist, or does not show the right patch version. |

| Cause | This problem happens when using the wrong JAVA version. |
| Resolution | Be sure that JAVA_HOME is pointing to a Oracle Sun JAVA, of version 1.5 or higher. JAVA1.4 is not supported by Artix5.5. |
