| Cause |
The bug ORBM-401 relates to an issue with the Orbix PL/I function "SEQSET", which can occasionally result in invalid data being added to a sequence. Specifically, if a prior, unrelated call set a value in memory, but did not free it correctly, SeqSet could, under certain unusual circumstances, add this value to the sequence. The above behaviour is difficult to reproduce, as there is no way to predict where in memory both the original value and the intended value is set. |
| Resolution |
Patch ORBM-401 resolves this problem by updating the following partitioned data sets: <HLQ>.ORBIX63.ORBM401.LOADLIB <HLQ>.ORBIX63.ORBM401.MFA.BD.LOADLIB <HLQ>.ORBIX63.ORBM401.MFA.LOADLIB |
