Bank Samples fail when linked with Roguewave's SourcePro edition of libstd
If only the Roguewave SourcePro libraries are used, then unresolved symbols are seen in the stubs/skeletons.
Resolution:
According to HP's website, their FAQ states that they do not support Roguewave libraries purchased separately from Roguewave. They only support the Roguewave libraries that are bundled with HP aC . The following HP's C FAQ which states this.
The text in the FAQ that is relevant is given below.
Q: If I purchase the latest version of the Standard C Library or Tools.h Library directly from Rogue Wave Software, is this version compatible with HP aC ?
A: HP performs a full cycle of quality assurance testing and provides support for Rogue Wave libraries that are officially bundled with HP aC . HP support is not provided for libraries purchased directly from Rogue Wave Software, nor for HP aC official libraries that you have modified and rebuilt.
HP replaces the Rogue Wave versions of the new and exception header files with HP aC versions that are implemented in the HP aC libCsup runtime support library. Therefore, libraries purchased from Rogue Wave are not wholly compatible with HP aC versions of Rogue Wave libraries.
Hence Rogue Wave SourcePro 6.0 is not completely compatible with the HP-supplied C libraries. VisiBroker has only been tested and certified against the HP-supplied libraries.
