Problem:
- Product Name: VisiBroker

It was reported that when the machine that a Smart Agent was running on was added with an additional network interface card (NIC), and the NIC represented an IP that has not been configured to allow access through the firewall, a client that dynamically initializes ORB (like a servlet) can experience delay up to 8 minutes while creating the ORB.
Resolution:
The delay is due to Visibroker"s repeated attempt to send GET_TCP_CLIENT_HANDLER_ADDR message to the Smart Agent on the new IP, but unable to get across the firewall to get a response. Decommission this new IP or configure the firewall to allow access on this new IP would resolve this issue.
