Resolution:

The OpenFusion Time Service is an implementation of the CORBA Time Service specification and comprises both the COS Time Service and the COS Timer Event Service.

The COS Time Service enables the current time, together with an associated estimated error, to be obtained by providing support for both Univerals Time Objects (UTOs) and Time Interval Objects (TIOs). It can also be configured to use an NTP server as a time source.
