When trying to start a service the start menu is greyed out.

Resolution:

In the Administration Manager click the button to expand the service and check whether the Singletons are crossed out.

In order to start the services a valid license file is required. This is sent out after the software has been downloaded, and it needs to be placed in the etc directory of the product installation. Once this has been done restart the Administration Manager and the services should be able to be started.
