| Question/Problem Description | When using Windows 64-bit should Orbix be upgraded to 64-bit as well? Can 32-bit applications be used with 64-bit Orbix? How can Orbix be affected after an upgrade to Windows 64-bit? |

| Cause | |
| Resolution | Microsoft support 32-bit applications running on 64-bit OS. This means Orbix 32-bit will work on Windows 64-bit. However, in an Orbix 64-bit environment 32-bit executables cannot be linked to 64-bit DLLs. So applications using Orbix will have to be built in 64-bit too. |
