Description:

On one machine the TimeService does not start up. All object files in the /openfusion/domains/OpenFusion/localhost/TimeService/data were removed. Then the process started up, but "server -status" reported that it was not running and any try to use the TimeService resulted in a CORBA::OBJECT_NOT_EXIST.

After (re)moving the IOR files for TimeService and TimerEventService the following error is reported:

DEBUG - Initializing singleton: Time/TimeService
DEBUG - Initializing singleton: TimerEvent/TimerEventService
ERROR - PID Missmatch for singleton: Process
ERROR - org.omg.CORBA.INTERNAL: PID Missmatch for singleton: Process minor code: 1347682304 completed: No

 

Resolution:

The ProcessSingleton.ior file needs to be removed as well.
