Deploying Cypress across larger environments just got easier.
Cypress 9.6 introduces a Silent Installer, allowing teams to install Cypress from the command line and pass the required configuration parameters without working through the installer UI manually.
For customers managing multiple Cypress servers, this means deployments can now be incorporated into existing scripting and automation workflows, helping teams:
- automate installations across multiple servers;
- maintain more consistent configuration;
- reduce manual deployment effort;
- better support standardized provisioning processes.
The Silent Installer supports the same core configuration parameters used during an interactive installation, including DocuVault name, cache size, installation path and more.
Another small but important step in making Cypress easier to deploy and manage at enterprise scale.
