Cypress 9.6 Feature Spotlight: Secure DDI with TLS

One of the security enhancements in Cypress 9.6 is TLS encryption for DDI (Direct Document Input) - the protocol Cypress uses to receive print jobs from systems such as SAP, Oracle and other enterprise applications.

With TLS enabled, documents and related parameters transmitted between the DDI client and Cypress server are encrypted in transit. Cypress 9.6 also supports mutual TLS, allowing both the client and server to verify each other before the connection is established. 

For customers using DDI, this provides stronger protection for document data in transit and helps meet modern enterprise security requirements. Configuration is straightforward and works with the existing DDI setup by pointing it to a TLS configuration file.
