Security doesn’t stop at the login screen.
Cypress 9.6 introduces two enhancements that help protect both user authentication and sensitive documents after they leave Cypress.
- Secure LDAP (LDAPS)
Cypress can now use an encrypted LDAPS connection when authenticating users against corporate directories such as Active Directory. This protects authentication traffic that previously travelled over a standard LDAP connection.
- Password-Protected PDF Export
When saving a document as PDF from the Thin Client, users can now add a password. The exported PDF is encrypted and can only be opened by someone with that password- useful when sharing sensitive reports, contracts or other confidential documents.
Together, these enhancements strengthen security at two important points in the document journey: when users access Cypress and when sensitive content is shared outside it.
