New D3 patches posted to the Rocket Community:

D3 Linux 10.3 ABS patch 14

D3 Linux 10.2 ABS patch 85

Here's what they fixed:

D3-69830: Corrected a problem with reset-user (xk not cleaning the pid of a nolonger running process, usually on a phantom line.
D3-69496: Corrected a problem with LOGOFF in which the source PIB can sometimes fall into the virtual debugger when the process is still attached.

For 10.3 we also have:

D3-69709:Corrected a problem with logoff which could result in a sys abort.

Brian,

Can I apply the latest D3/Linux 10.3.3 patches to our current 10.3.1 development server running on CentOS v7?

That's weird. It was just tested on 10.3.1 to make sure. This was an ABS patch which would not need D3_setup to be run again. Why was that run?

The system was unpatched since installation, so that I was trying to patch the Monitor first... remember that this is on CentOS v7...

There is no M8 for 10.3.1, only an M2. Did you download the monitor patch from the 10.3.3 group in RBC?? I would highly recommend you go get the M2 patch from the 10.3.1 group and load it.

Thanks, my bad... it has been a long time since I did any upgrade/patch and forgot the rules.

Anyway, I downloaded the M2 monitor patch, but the link still fails with the same messages... any other ideas?

Time to open a support ticket. I'm not sure how to proceed from here, but I'm pretty sure I'll need to look at the system.
