I know how to link an image from the web to a client's D3 process, but how to do I link an image that's on their local Linux/D3 server to their D3 system? What's the correct format for the path? Thanks.

Didn't see this before talking with you yesterday. As discussed, linking to an image on their local D3 server will not work. Unless you install a web server, spend the money to create a domain, make the D3/web server open to the public, all to publish an image. So no, no "practical" way to do this.

I use a web server (Apache) but could it be done with a standard file sharing? Samba or windows share?
