Hi. Brian Cram here on behalf of @Tim Rude and myself. On March 30th and 31st Tim and I are going to be taking you on a complete tutorial on Hot Backup and Safe Snapshotting for D3/Unix. This will include five videos: 1) Safe Snapshotting of D3/Unix, 2) Doing a Small Save/Restore, 3) Hot Backup Configuration, 4) Hot Backup Monitoring and Debugging,  and 5) Resynchronizing Hot Backup.

"Small Save/Restore? What is that?" you may ask. It's a simple technique that streamlines the save and restore process. Curious? Cool! Here's a sneak peak at the Small Save/Restore process:

    Hope you all enjoyed the presentation last week. Would appreciate some feedback on presentation. Know that I already know that I spoke too fast which caused some tripping over words. I promise to do better next time ( apparently I was better on this series than the D3 FSI Hot Backup series).

    Here are the PowerPoints and Scripts that I used to create the four videos in those presentations. Sometimes it's easier to read than watch, listen, rewind, repeat...
