Yes, but the whole D3 system and PICK before it was built independent of
the operating system. We have moved our software from R83, AP/PRO,
Mandrake, Mandriva and finally CentOS simply by backing up and then
restoring it on the new system. New hardware, new OS and a couple of
hours later, all up and running and back in business. We could have even
used an AP/DOS or a Windows version, so the underlying OS is, or was,
basically inconsequential.
