We have a client requirement to add a QR code to the header of tally slip prints, which are printed directly from D3. Has anyone been able to achieve this?

Gareth!!! Brian Cram here!! Long time!

Is this being printed to a laser printer? If so, I believe the logic would be similar to something I did back when I was out writing code for money. A client needed a barcode of the part# on the line items on a picking list so the warehouse could scan them. I'll Google to see if you can print a QR code with PCL then send you my sample code.

Might work, might not...

Hi Gareth,

if you were doing just labels, I recommend having a look around to see if there are specialised label barcode printers which do QR codes.

It's easier to program for a barcode printer than a laser (or in my case, dot matrix) printer.
