124 Communication with Fileshare Server faile during I/O request

Problem:

Mainframe Access Version MFA3.0

Mainframe Express Version MFE3.0

Customer was getting this error accessing a dataset on Mainframe from an MFE project using Dataconnect feature.

Drag/drop works fine, it's only Dataconnect which failed.

In this case a wrong APPLID was applied in the PARM='APPLID=XXXXXXXX',

statement of Dataconnect (MFAS) Started Task.

After supplying the correct LU and recycle the MFA Tasks the problem was resolved.

Please ensure you are getting an MFA110I message in MFAS Joblog, like e.g.
