Enterprise Developer Personal and Team Edition are officially supported on Windows 7.0 and Windows Server 2008 and available as both a 32 and 64 bit application. Enterprise Developer will install successfully on earlier versions of Windows but this is not officially supported.

The pre-requisite software required (and installed as part of the software setup) varies depending on the product being installed. For Enterprise Developer for Eclipse the following will be installed

•  Java JRE 1.6.27
• .NET Framework v4.0
• Eclipse 3.7.1 (incorporated into the EDTE MSI).
• Micro Focus License Manager

 For Enterprise Developer Team Edition for Visual Studio

• Visual Studio 2010 Integrated Shell (incorporates  .NET Framework v4.0)
• Micro Focus License Manager

The installation process will drive you through the install and add all the necessary components, if not already installed and compatible.
