What is the purpose of a hidden file in testlibw: <pgm-name.gid>?
Resolution:
This is a group id field Group ID to which this user belongs. If uid = gid, this entry defines a group. The public group has a suid equal to -2. All other groups have a suid equal to -gid. More information on this is available from the Microsoft MSDN websit: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/
