Issue:
We have Enterprise Server connected with an ADLDS user repository that uses Microsoft Users (MSS) or the "user" objectclass. We cannot seem to allow these users to see any features in ESMAC. When you place any of these MSS users in a Microfocus-MFDS-Group objectclass (a group) that is supposed to give
them ESMAC Access (such as SYSADM), they still do not have ESMAC access, and can see no functions on the left hand side of the screen. I have placed MSS users in Microfocus-mfds-group GROUP objects, which are assigned the full MFESMAC resources using the proper method described.All MSS users who access ESMAC are still receiving NO functionality on the left menu.
Resolution:
Enabling group federation Federate=no flag in the Configuration Information in security managers as described in the below link
