Hi,

we would like to get rid of FTP & SFTP, and replace it with SMB, so I am wondering if there is a way to adapt MFFTP utility to keep the features that it provides (such as LOCSIte, name change..) and only replace the transfer step by a windows copy/Robocopy.

any experience with this ? or other solutions to replace FTP with SMB ?

Thanks

Hi Reda,

Can you confirm, is SMB this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/file-server/file-server-smb-overview ? I want to ensure I  understand which technology you refer too.

Is there a technical reason why FTP does not work for you or prompting the change?

Hi Kim,

That's right,

we have lot of issues with FTP when multiple transfers are triggered at the same time + we are transferring files between Win servers, so we are investigating the possibility to Robocop instead of FTP(S)
