Adding new PCT and FCT to a new resource group via ESMAC

Problem:

How to add new PCT and FCT to resource group via ES Monitor and Control screen.

Resolution:

1)create a new group: 
 
- On ESMAC, In the left hand panel select "By Group" under Resources 
- Click on the Groups button that appears underneath 
- In the right hand panel click on the button "New" 
- In Name: enter "TESTCICS" (or any other name of your preference), enter "CICS TEST"  as a description, 
then click on the "Add" button. 
 
you should now see an empty group with the FCT, PCT, PPT, PLT... buttons.
 
2) Add the "TEST" transaction(your CICS transaction id) to the group: 
 
- Click on the Groups button under Resources 
- Click on Details next to TESTCICS 
- Click on the PCT button 
- Enter "TEST" as the name 
- Make sure that TESTCICS has been selected in Grp 
- Enter "CICS TEST" as the Description 
- Enter "TEST1" as the program name (CICS program name linked to transaction id)
- Leave everything else as it is and click on "Add" 
 
Repeat Step 2) to add new FCT entry.
 
3)Click on the SIT button under Resources in the left hand panel 
 Click on Details next to DEMOSIT .By default DEMOSIT uses DEMOSTRT 
 
4)Adding the new group to the Startup List 
 
- Click on Startup under Resources in the left hand panel 
- Click on Details next to DEMOSTRT 
- The last row in the list of groups should be empty and should allow you to enter a new one. 
- Enter "TESTCICS" in the last empty row 
- Press "Apply" 
 
5)Re-start your ES server for this changes to apply .
