ADMIN user for EV Portal

Problem:

After the successful installation and configuration of EV Portal, the Welcome screen is displayed in the web browser, but when you try to login with the ADMIN user and its password, a message is displayed.

Resolution:

The ADMIN user is not valid login account for Enterprise View Portal. Only explicitly created and properly authorized users are able to log in to the Portal. You can follow these steps to access the Portal:


  1. Create a new username and assign proper authorizations, or assign proper authorizations to an existing user. The user creation and authorization is done in Configuration Manager->Access Manager. Please follow the instructions provided in the .
  2. Submit the Portal Configuration job in order to apply the changes to the Portal database.
  3. Log in to the Portal with the properly authorized user.
