When one receives the following error when executing, using CALL 'AIBTDLI' USING...:
CBLTDLI: ABEND:
CBLTDLI: ABEND: REGION ABEND - APPLICATION PROGRAM PROBLEM
CBLTDLI: ABEND: ABEND CODE: 0100
CBLTDLI: ABEND: "AIB" INTERFACE PSEUDO-ABEND
CBLTDLI: ABEND: "AIBOALEN" NOT LARGE ENOUGH FOR DATA RETURNED
CBLTDLI: ABEND: DATA RETURNED AS IF AIBOALEN WAS LARGE ENOUGH
CBLTDLI: ABEND:
Resolution:
This error is to indicate that, when reading a file, the record returned is larger than the IO area provided for it. The AIB interface allows you to indicate the size of the buffer (working storage area in your program) so that the read doesn't result in a storage overflow, and this warning indicates that the buffer area is not big enough.
Check the current space allowances in the AIB interface, and increase accordingly.
