Problem:
During the installation of the AMB AddPack into Eclipse the following Error message is issued:
0x81f40001 - Micro Focus Enterprise Developer for Visual Studio nnnn n.n must be uninstalled before continuing.
There can be an issue associated with the AMB installer, which, in early versions of Enterprise Developer 3.0, can incorrectly object to Visual Studio installations that exist on the same machine.
Resolution:
If this is the only error message issued, then run the installer from a Windows command prompt, and suffix it with ignorechecks=1
e.g. >ambaddpack_30.exe ignorechecks=1
