Problem:

Attempting to gen the entire portfolio (about 10,000 programs).  Built-up a massive APSAPPL to drive it from AMB Desktop.

After it launches about 500 jobs into the APS jobqueue, processing appears to hang.

Resolution:

If you are trying to generate extremely large applications, it may appear to be hanging because there is no progress bar to indicate activity. To aid in keeping track of many jobs, the jobqueue folder in the user area should be cleaned up.I t is recommended that applications of 500 or fewer programs be used.
