Problem:

After upgrading to Websphere MQ v7.0 and above, the following error occurs when attempting to start DGS:

Starting MQ Series Client Interface.

Unable to verify the status of the PC middleware interface.

The check for the PC middleware interface reported the following:

An error (The specified procedure could not be found.) occurred when loading the library …\\mainframe express\\amb\\software\\support\\ambmwicpc.dll. 

Middleware Interface interface not started.

Resolution:

AppMaster Builder ships a Microsoft DLL (DBGHelp.dll) in the …\\AMB\\Software\\Support folder. Rename or delete this version of the DLL, so that a newer version can be picked up from the Windows folder.
