Black Charts in Chart Viewer in Enterprise Analyzer

Problem:

User sees black charts in the Chart Viewer.  Reinstalling or restarting Enterprise Analyzer does nothing to resolve the issue.

Resolution:

Issue is related to latest version of Flash.  Please follow below steps to install an older version of Flash to resolve the issue.

  1. Uninstall Flash Player (follow all instructions):  https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
  2. Download this older version of Flash Player and run the flashplayer18_0r0_194_winax.exe from the 18_0_r0_194 folder:  https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_18.0.0.194_archive.zip
  3. Disable auto updates for Flash for now.
