Problem:
Mainframe Express Enterprise Edition has a direct emulation program for IKJEFT01 (batch schedular) but not for other "flavours" off the DB2 schedulers - is it possible to use IKJEFT01 and use a different alias?
Resolution:
The main difference between all of the DB2 schedulers on the mainframe is in the area of return code handling. If this is not important to your application you can alias these routines to the Micro Focus version of these program - IDAEFT01. To do this, go to Project Settings in the Mainframe Express IDE, select the Aliases tab, and add the required entries.
