Can Revolve utilise the IMS Stage 1 gen file to load the application?

Problem:

The IMS Stage 1 gen file contains details of all transactions / programs defined to IMS.  Can Revolve use this as a start point to load the entire application?

Resolution:

Yes, If you load the gen file and ensure all the search directories are set up for all the appropriate member types (eg CBL, CPY, PSB, MFS etc etc), then Revolve will use the Automatic Component Locator process to load the entire application based on the contents of the gen file.  

The gen file can be taken straight off the mainframe but as all other source, must be converted to ANSI to load into Revolve.
