Problem:

User attempts to create workspace on SQL Server 2008. User receives "Cannot Access Workspace Directory" message when attempting to use Build New Workspace.

Resolution:

This issue can sometimes be related to port security, especially at installations with high security or firewalls.  In this case, user can configure a static TCP/IP in the SQL Server Configuration Manager.
