Cannot establish a MVS Explorer connection after applying Enterprise Developer 2.3 Update 1 HF1 for Eclipse.

Problem:

After applying Hotfix 1 it is no longer possible to establish a MVS Explorer connection. Now, exception errors are reported when trying to create a new connection and when trying to connect to a previous connection in Eclipse.

When creating a new Connection an "Unhandled Loop Exception“ error is reported in the Error Log

When connecting to a previously define connection, an exception is reported in:

com.microfocus.mfawrappermc.CciQueryObject.<clinit>(CciQueryObject.cbl:65535)

Solution:

Run a repair on the hotfix as that will uninstall/install all the Eclipse plugins.
