Problem:
After installing IBM TX Series 7.1, I cannot login to IBM TX Series. How do I login to IBM TXSeries Administration tool? I am not sure what the login credentials are.
Resolution:
Once installed and you want to access the IBM TXSeries Administration tool, the default URL to login to is: http://localhost/txseries/login?t=2
Make sure the Windows account called “cics” is enabled and belongs to the “cicsgroup”, both these are created during the IBM TXSeries install but are not setup correctly. You can reset the password for that account as needed. Then open the IBM TXSeries Administration tool via your favourite web browser and login with “cics” and the password you set that for.
