In the test region when i use the casfile command for closing vsam file it throws error as server not found. but when i use cfmt command vsam files closes fine. below is the error:
casfile -fTST3-ONL -ed -oc -uSYSAD -DNAMHIST1
Server not found: TST3-ONL
Command execution aborted.
Highest return code: 15

Hi Noel, as a test can you test by starting the region from the same command prompt using casstart command, does the issue persist? This is to check if the issue is related to a security context or not. If the issue persists then please raise a support case as this will need further investigation.
