What to do if CASFILE /rMTODEMO /dacctfil /ed gets return code 12 but the file is in active FCT.
Problem:
For some reason the CASFILE /rMTODEMO /dacctfil /ed gets a return code 12 but the file is in active FCT. Why is this?
Resolution:
The dataset is case sensitive so if the FCT is in uppercase then the /d needs to be in uppercase as well. The region also needs to be started from CASSTART and not the administraion page in order for this to work. With WrapPack 3 (WebSync 03) and above it is best to use the /f option to replace the /r option in order to eliminate the requirement of how the region is started. For example: CASTFILE /fMTODEMO /dACCTFIL /ed.
