This article explains an error code 114, JOB or JCL submission failed; CASKC0027E Error executing service ('esmac' or 'CASA_Sub_JCL').
Problem:
We are receiving a JOB submission failed from the web page http://machine:port-no/esmac/casrdo44 after selecting the SUBMIT button. The casrdo44 screen is replaced with the following error screen.
Error: MFRHCGI Failure
RTS error = 114
Program name: casrdo44
Viewed from the console log the following message will be recorded for the SUBMIT failure.

Resolution:
The Default Allocated Dataset Location JES entry was defined with multiple directories not a single directory location as required, For example C:\\Files;D:\\MSS\\DATA.
- Select Edit button for the problem server from the Enterprise Server Administration page.
- Select the MSS; 6.0 version; or MTO; prior to 6.0 version; tab.
- Select JES tab.
- Correct the entry for Default Allocated Dataset Location.
- Apply with the APPLY button.
- Stop and restart the server for the change to take effect.
