Resolution:
This message may be occurring due to a license server issue. In order to verify this, follow these prompts and see if you get the following messages:
# cascd32 /rESDEMO
CASMG9999E SI0013 9:35:46
# casmgr32 /rESDEMO
CASSI0000I Server manager initialization started 9:35:58
CASSI4005I Retrieving ES configuration from MFDS (127.0.0.1:86) 9:36:00
CASSI1005E Error 00010 requesting license 9:36:31
CASSI1002S Server manager initialization failure, no valid license found
If you have valid licenses installed, then following this process should resolve the issue:
1. First, shut down mfds using the 'Shut Down' link on the left side menu of the Enterprise Server Admin Page
2. Kill every process that starts with "cas" (find them using "ps-ef | grep cas" and kill them using "kill -9"
3. Stop the Enteprise Server License Manager using "eslmfgetpv k"
4. Start the Enterprise Server License Manager "eslm"
5. Start mfds
6. Start the ES region(s) using the Enterprise Server Admin Page or the "casstart" command
