Problem:

When running an application within Enterprise Edition or Server Enterprise Edition you may encounter this error:

CASSI1005E Error 00010 requesting license

Resolution:

The error may be due to the fact that the Enterprise Server License Manager is not started.  On UNIX/Linux, in order to start the license manager you need to do the following as root:

cd /opt/microfocus/cobol/bin
./eslm
