CFCR returns I/O Error on OPEN - Status=9/100

Problem:

CICS supplied Transaction CFCR returns Status 9/100 creating Files defined with variable Record Format.

Resolution:

The reason is the Default File Format Idxformat-9 (MF IDX-9) at ES Monitor & Control / FCT page.

CFCR tries to create the new file using this Format.

Solution:

Change the Format from "Default" to "Micro Focus" in the Drop Down List.
