Problem:

How can we change the default user "MFUSER" to another authorized user to access ESMAC regions.

Solution:

Using this environment variable on the region you want for READONLY users and not the default user mfuser.

Set the variable below:

ES_USR_DFLT_ESMAC=mfuser to ES_USR_DFLT_ESMAC=Readonly.

Make sure you have another way to logon to the region as the system administrator. (Sysad) that will allow someone to modify and update if necessary in this region.

 Using the environment variable the default users can be overwriiten by the users of your choice.

MIcro Focus advise against disabling or changing the default if you don’t have other users that can modify in this region for administration duties.
