How to refresh a cics listener tranasaction without refreshing the region? This is a production system

Hi, it is difficult to recommend much without understanding the scenario more, why do you need refresh the listener and not the region, have you tried to stop/start the listener? Is there an error? Also, please confirm if you have raised a support case for this yet, or not, this will help to avoid duplicate efforts.

one of the system transaction "csk3" didnt start during region start after the version upgrade. when troubleshooted identified that particular transaction port 10004 got used by escwa. Hence we stopped the escwa service but still that tranascation is not running.

Hence in order to avoid downtime wanted to refresh the listener transaction instead of the entire region.

You can try to stop the listener, make changes, then start, does that pick up the changes?

These are the 2 listeners are available , cant find any other listener.

Is the TN3270 listener the one to refresh, normally 3270 is used for CICS transactions.

"CSK3" is the tranasction to be refreshed.

Can you refresh the TN3270 listener?

Already business hours is started. if i refresh will it create an outage for online screens ?

Yes I believe it will affect users as they would need to connect to the 3270 sessions if using 3270 for their CICS Transactions.

For CASOP0000I, have you considered to review the product documentation, see URL: https://www.microfocus.com/documentation/enterprise-developer/ed70/ED-VS2017/CASOP0000.html
That provide information about the event.
If you need further clarification then I recommend you to raise a support case for further assistance.
