Connection between two CICS regions on the same machine

Problem:

Two active CICS regions are on the same machine but they belong to two different projects.

A single transaction from one of the CICS regions has to call a transaction from the other CICS region.

Is it possible to connect the two CICS regions in such a way that they can use the same transactions?
