Problem:
If you are updating your DB2 release to version 8, you will need this patch for the subschema painter to work correctly. Without this fix, your table lists may be empty. IBM has changed the catalog field lengths for Table name and Column name and changes were required to be made to the subshema and DB2 object list programs to account for this change by IBM.
Resolution:
Install the object modules and DBRM files in the zip file and link,bind, grant on your mainframe.
