Problem:

Emulate CICS with MFE, NetX is the client via IBM universal client.

To debug, user starts CICS region, goes to Debug, then Start Debug.

The application output window then shows new text.

Resolution:

The application window was a TSO session.

When one runs Debug, Start Debugging, it matters which

tab is in the foreground.  The user had the TSO tab instead of the CICS tab in the foreground.

Therefore, of course, the CICS debug didn't work.  Once

the user clicked on the CICS tab before clicking OK, they

were back to the familiar.
