Problem:
Release: 2.5 Using the TSO Ready Prompt for starting the batch program. This works fine for regular batch programs, if the allocations are done via Clist or Rexx, but for SQL programs no connection to the SQL database is ever made so the -8003 is issued.
Resolution:
Suggestion here is to use JCL that names TSO, IKJEFT01, and uses the DB2 DSN RUN PROGRAM command.
